Refund Policy

1. Overview

At FiveBrowse, we strive to provide high-quality services and ensure customer satisfaction. Due to the digital nature of our services and instant delivery upon purchase, refunds are limited and subject to the specific terms outlined in this policy.

2. Premium User Subscription Refunds

2.1 No Refunds Policy

Premium User Subscriptions are non-refundable. This includes:

  • Initial subscription purchases
  • Monthly subscription renewals
  • Unused portion of active subscriptions
  • Subscription cancellations mid-cycle

2.2 Monthly Subscription Terms

Premium User Subscriptions are billed on a monthly recurring basis and provide access to exclusive features including:

  • Customizable display names
  • Custom profile UI personalization
  • One additional vote every 12 hours
  • Other exclusive premium features as added

2.3 Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your Premium subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to Premium features until the end of your current billing period. No refunds will be issued for the remaining time in your subscription period or for any previous billing cycles.

2.4 Billing Errors

If you believe you were charged in error or charged multiple times for the same subscription, please contact our support team on our official Discord server immediately. We will investigate and resolve legitimate billing errors.

3. Featured Listing Refunds

3.1 Featured Listing Terms

Featured Listings allow server owners to promote their servers at the top of the FiveBrowse directory for a specified duration:

  • 7-day Featured Listing
  • 14-day Featured Listing
  • 30-day Featured Listing

3.2 Pre-Activation Refunds

You may request a full refund for a Featured Listing purchase only before it has been activated or applied to your server listing. Once the Featured Listing period begins, the purchase is considered final and is non-refundable.

3.3 Technical Issue Refunds

Full or partial refunds may be issued for Featured Listings if:

  • Your listing did not appear as featured due to a technical error on our end
  • Your featured period was interrupted by platform downtime exceeding 24 consecutive hours
  • The featured placement was removed prematurely due to an error by FiveBrowse

In cases of technical issues, we may extend your Featured Listing period instead of issuing a refund, at our discretion.

3.4 Listing Removal Policy

If your server listing is removed from FiveBrowse due to violations of our Terms of Service or Content Safety Guidelines during an active Featured Listing period, no refund will be issued. The featured status will be terminated immediately upon removal.

3.5 Duplicate Purchase Refunds

If you accidentally purchase multiple Featured Listing periods for the same server, please contact us immediately on our official Discord server. We will refund duplicate purchases that have not yet been activated or started.

4. Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds will not be issued under the following circumstances:

  • All Premium User Subscriptions (initial purchases and renewals)
  • Change of mind after Featured Listing activation
  • Failure to cancel a subscription before the renewal date
  • Account suspension or termination due to violations of our Terms of Service
  • Dissatisfaction with Premium features after use
  • Unused portion of Premium subscriptions or active Featured Listings
  • Technical issues on your end, including internet connectivity or device problems
  • Lower than expected traffic or engagement with your Featured Listing
  • Changes to FiveBrowse features or services, provided core functionality is maintained

5. How to Request Support or Refund

5.1 Discord Support

All refund requests and billing inquiries must be submitted through our official Discord server. To request support:

  1. Join our official FiveBrowse Discord server
  2. Navigate to the support channel or create a support ticket
  3. Provide your account email address and username
  4. Specify the service in question (Premium subscription or Featured Listing)
  5. Provide the transaction ID or purchase date
  6. Explain your situation and reason for contact
  7. Include any relevant screenshots or documentation if applicable

5.2 Response Time

Our support team aims to respond to all inquiries within 24-48 hours. Complex cases may require additional time for review. You will receive confirmation once your ticket is received and again once a resolution has been determined.

5.3 Required Information

Incomplete support requests may delay processing. Please ensure you provide all requested information to expedite your inquiry.

5.4 Official Support Channel

Only requests submitted through our official Discord server will be processed. We do not accept refund requests via email, social media, or other third-party platforms. Beware of impersonators or unofficial support channels.

6. Refund Processing

6.1 Approval Notification

If your refund request is approved (limited to eligible Featured Listing cases), you will receive confirmation through Discord with details about the refund amount and expected processing time.

6.2 Refund Method

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. We cannot issue refunds to different payment methods or accounts.

6.3 Processing Time

Once approved, refunds are typically processed within 5-10 business days. The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account depends on your payment provider and may take an additional 3-5 business days.

6.4 Currency and Fees

Refunds will be issued in the original currency of purchase. Any currency conversion fees, payment processing fees, or bank charges incurred during the original transaction are non-refundable.

7. Chargebacks and Disputes

7.1 Contact Us First

Before filing a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or payment provider, please contact us through our official Discord server to resolve the issue. We are committed to working with you to address legitimate billing concerns.

7.2 Chargeback Consequences

Filing an unauthorized chargeback for digital services that were properly delivered may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of your FiveBrowse account. If you have a legitimate billing dispute, please work with our support team first.

7.3 Fraudulent Chargebacks

Chargebacks filed after services have been delivered and consumed in full may be considered fraudulent and will result in permanent account termination and potential legal action to recover costs.

8. Service Modifications and Outages

8.1 Platform Downtime

If FiveBrowse experiences significant platform downtime (more than 24 consecutive hours), active Featured Listing periods may be extended by the duration of the outage. Premium subscriptions will not be credited or refunded for platform downtime.

8.2 Feature Changes

We reserve the right to modify, add, or remove features from Premium subscriptions or Featured Listings at any time. No refunds will be issued due to feature changes or modifications to service offerings.

8.3 Service Discontinuation

If we decide to discontinue Premium subscriptions or Featured Listings entirely, active subscribers will receive reasonable advance notice when possible. We reserve the right to determine appropriate compensation, which may include account credits or service extensions rather than monetary refunds.

9. Promotional and Discounted Purchases

Services purchased at promotional prices, with discount codes, or during special offers are subject to the same refund policy as regular-priced purchases. All Premium subscriptions remain non-refundable regardless of the purchase price.

10. Exceptions and Special Circumstances

10.1 Discretionary Decisions

FiveBrowse reserves the right to make exceptions to this policy in extraordinary circumstances on a case-by-case basis. Such exceptions are made at our sole discretion and do not set precedent for future requests.

10.2 Goodwill Gestures

Any refunds, credits, or service extensions issued as goodwill gestures do not constitute an admission of fault or liability on the part of FiveBrowse and do not override the terms of this policy.

10.3 Regional Requirements

If your local consumer protection laws provide mandatory refund rights that cannot be waived, those rights remain in effect. Please contact us through our Discord server to discuss region-specific legal requirements.

11. Changes to This Policy

11.1 Policy Updates

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, services, or legal requirements. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
